We’re launching Dark Mode in Prenly

We are excited to introduce a highly requested new feature in Prenly: Dark Mode.Dark Mode means that the app is displayed with a dark color theme where backgrounds become darker while text and interface elements are adjusted to remain clear and readable. For readers using apps for newspapers, magazines and digital publications, Dark Mode makes it easier and more comfortable to read in low-light environments.

For publishers, this creates a modern reading experience that can contribute to:

• longer reading time
• better user experience
• lower battery consumption on the reader’s device

Dark Mode is now a standard feature in many apps, and it is now also available in Prenly – the platform for digital publications and publishing apps.

Prenly automatically follows the user’s Dark Mode settings

Prenly is built for modern publishing apps for newspapers and magazines. When a reader has Dark Mode enabled on their device, Prenly will automatically display the app in dark mode. This applies to:

• iOS apps
• Android apps
• web browsers

This means the reader does not need to change any settings in the app itself – the experience automatically adapts to the device’s system settings.
